Happy New Year

The work to restore the historic walls is nearly completed. All the scaffolding should be down soon, and the ground has been levelled for the shop. Metal gates will be installed at the main entrance, and the existing buildings are being renovated. The archaeological survey found only a few Bronze Age flints and some victorian buttons. The concrete pad for the building will be installed in the first half on January.

The tree felling has finished - it was necessary to fell a few specific trees to maintain the integrity of the walls and allow for the build. Once the scaffolding has been removed, the west garden is due to be released to the management committee so that we can start to access the area. That means we will be planning some garden working parties! Please get in touch if you fancy getting stuck into what will no doubt be an incredible transformation.
