Dementia Cafe

We are very pleased to be able to offer a dementia cafe, sponsored by The Ivy Trust, meeting on the last Monday of every month in our Community Room with refreshments provided (this month’s session is a week earlier due to Christmas).
We welcome anyone living with dementia to our relaxed and inclusive cafe within our Victorian walled garden
Carers and cared-for are welcome to attend together

Join Anne Murphy for a beginner/intermediate art class at The Walled Garden. Using pastels, create pictures of anything you choose - and take your bespoke creation home for yourself or gift it as a present!

Art Class - Using acrylic paints

Learn how to paint using acrylic paints with Sharon Nicholls. You will learn about these paints and how to us them, and come away with your own masterpiece from a picture supplied.
- 10am to 2.30 pm in the Community Room with a half-hour lunch break at midday
- Step by step tuition
- Up to 8 people per class
- All materials provided, just bring an apron and enthusiasm!
- Beginners only – no experience is necessary
