You will be supported at each step of the way to create a bespoke take home craft. All materials and equipment are provided and no prior experience is needed.

Enamelled Jewellery Workshop

Join Angela Humphrey Designs for a kiln-fired enamelled jewellery workshop.
This beginner friendly fun workshop will have a maximum of 8 participants. You will create your own enamelled jewellery using first copper, then silver and learning to enamel. The enamels used are vitreous enamels which will be kiln fired. You will learn to apply the enamels to the metal and gain an understanding of the firing and then finishing process.
You will be guided gently through all the processes involved and given any help or guidance needed. Please wear an apron and bring reading glasses if needed. You will be provided with all the tools and equipment needed. If you wish to purchase additional materials to use it is possible to purchase either copper or silver.

Indian Wood Block Printing - Personalising your printing

Learn how to use fair trade Indian wood blocks in the beautiful setting of The Walled Garden. This workshop is for people new to the craft of wood block printing or for those looking to enhance their experience. You will be supported at each step of the way by Eleanor, the owner of Creative Planet, who is an Indian Block Print Company certified trainer.
We start the afternoon practising our printing technique on paper and fabric using a variety of designs and paint colours. When you are happy with your choices, you can then print your items to take home with you. You will be able to personalise your choice of birthday cards and tote bag, plus either a small fabric zip bag or drawstring bag with initials or words.
A £10 donation to The Walled Garden and all workshop materials are included in the price.

Bring it down to our Community Bike Shed at The Walled Garden - we have volunteers ready to do maintenance checks, servicing, fix minor repairs and help get you road worthy! Learn how to oil a chain, fix a puncture and other essential jobs!
This is a completely free service for all. Donations are of course very welcome for parts needed.

Calling all crafty teens!
Join our new group for a chance to try out new crafts in like-minded company. These workshops are for young adults aged 12 to 18 years old and all materials and equipment are supplied. You will be shown how to make a bespoke creation which you can take home.
Each month we will try a different craft - for March’s session we will be needle felting hessian banners with a spring theme.
Cost is £17 per person, which includes a suggested donation of £2 to The Walled Garden.
