You will also receive a list of basic sewing items to bring to the workshop.

The fee for this creative day is £17.50, plus a suggested £10 donation to The Walled Garden. For this you will receive full pattern instructions for both hares and half a metre of wool felt in a colour of your choice.

Christmas Cheese & Wine Workshop

Fri, December 12 2025

Love Cheese? Love Wine? Love Christmas?

Join us as we get into the festive spirit. We’ll show you how to create some amazing seasonal cheese and wine combinations that will make your festive cheeseboard the envy of your friends and family.

We’ll kick things off with a glass of fizz while we explain why cheese and wine are perfect partners. Then you’ll find your own favourites as you taste your way through six of the finest local and international cheeses paired with six equally impressive wines.

Of course it wouldn’t be Christmas without including a fine Port paired with a Stilton but the evening will also include a selection from a carefully-curated list of seasonal combinations. The evening will be complemented by a selection of premium crackers and biscuits for cheese, some sticky Christmas chutney and christmas trimmings.
