Summer white and rosé tasting

Sat, July 5 2025

7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

39.50

In the summer, fresh, fragrant white wines and rosé wines come into their own as we eat lighter foods and enjoy drinks with more refreshing qualities.

At this tasting we’ll share what makes white wines so refreshing and explore what styles work well with summery foods like seafood and salads.

We’ll also explain how rosé wines are made and examine why they range in colour from a delicate salmon to vibrant, rich fuscia-pink.

Then we’ll bring the world of summer wines to life with a tasting of our favourite white and rosé wines that we’ve discovered from around the world.

While you may enjoy a glass of chilled Sauvignon Blanc have you tried an Assytiko from Greece or a Pecorino from Italy? You may know the light delicate rosé wines of Provence in France but have you enjoyed a glass of food-friendly rosé from Tavel? The evening will also include a blind tasting of our recommended party plonk next to a wine at least twice the price and we’ll challege you to see if you can taste the difference.

With each wine we’ll recommend a food pairing and there will be a little charcuterie and cheese served with a couple of the wines.

Join us for a fun, enjoyable evening and get your summer drinking sorted!
