New year, new craft? Come along and join our friendly crafting workshop where we try out a new craft every month.
You will be supported at each step of the way to create a bespoke take home craft. All materials and equipment are provided and no prior experience is needed.

For the February session, we will be Iris paper folding to create heart and flowers

Workshops are suitable for adults and young people aged 13 and above. Cost is £25 per person and a donation of £10 to The Walled Garden is suggested, payable when you arrive.

Discover floral creativity!

Join The Walled Garden Floral Group, every second Saturday of each month from 10am-1pm.

This two-year course is perfect for beginners and improvers in floristry, led by expert tutor Linda Knights. Work towards a Walled Garden certification by creating a portfolio of work.

Monthly payments cover expenses (£5-£20) plus a £10 suggested donation to The Walled Garden.

Bushcraft club

Gain a better understanding of the natural world and the processes that define it at our free bushcraft club, held every third Sunday of the month.

Develop important survival skills including safe tool operation, fire lighting, shelter building, carving, foraging and lots more.

Build personal confidence and enjoy nature more!

Knife safety training provided which must be complete before wood carving.

Open to all responsible adults (18+), and children 12 years and over, when accompanied by a responsible adult.

This is a an ongoing monthly class from 1.30-3.30pm.

Cost is £17 per class which includes a suggested £5 donation to The Walled Garden.

These designs can be created by hand or machine, or a combination of both. You will learn how to make a wall hanging or quilt from start to finish showcasing different techniques. New projects will be added during the year.

Join our new group for a chance to try out new crafts in like-minded company. These workshops are for young adults aged 12 to 18 years old and all materials and equipment are supplied. You will be shown how to make a bespoke creation which you can take home.

Each month we will try a different craft - for February’s session we will be Iris paper folding to create rainbow and heart pictures.

Enamelled Jewellery Workshop

Join Angela Humphrey Designs for a kiln-fired enamelled jewellery workshop.

This beginner friendly fun workshop will have a maximum of 8 participants. You will create your own enamelled jewellery using first copper, then silver and learning to enamel. The enamels used are vitreous enamels which will be kiln fired. You will learn to apply the enamels to the metal and gain an understanding of the firing and then finishing process.

You will be guided gently through all the processes involved and given any help or guidance needed. Please wear an apron and bring reading glasses if needed. You will be provided with all the tools and equipment needed. If you wish to purchase additional materials to use it is possible to purchase either copper or silver.

• There are delicious refreshments available in the Walled Garden Cafe either before or after the workshop
