This is a an ongoing monthly class from 1.30-3.30pm.

Cost is £17 per class which includes a suggested £5 donation to The Walled Garden.

These designs can be created by hand or machine, or a combination of both. You will learn how to make a wall hanging or quilt from start to finish showcasing different techniques. New projects will be added during the year.

Photography Club

Photography Club runs the second Saturday of the month from 2-4 pm

If you enjoy taking photographs and would like to learn how to take the best pictures come and join our photography club.

Photography is valid whatever medium is used, whether it’s a camera phone or an old box brownie.

We will explore the wonderful opportunities The Walled Garden has to offer for taking photographs.

Our club aim is to explore aspects of photography, determined by the group.

All are welcome and there is no charge. There is a wonderful cafe with good coffee and lots of tasty treats.

Indian Wood Block Printing - Turkish towels

This is an advanced workshop lasting for four hours using handled and mulit-part blocks to print a large paper carrier bag and turkish towel. Suitable for those who have attended a Creative Planet wood block workshop before, or experienced printers.

Al-fresco Summer Cheese & Wine Workshop

Love Cheese? Love Wine? Love Summer? Join us at our al-fresco cheese and wine pairing evening and learn how to pair a range of cheeses with a delicious selection of lighter, fresher wines; perfect for outdoor entertaining.

Join us a few minutes before the published start time and enjoy a gentle stroll around the garden with a complimentary taste of fizz.

We will be exploring a range of delicious cheeses, including cheeses made in Norfolk, and matching them with some classic wines from around the world. We will also talk about food and wine matching more generally and you will pick up some really good tips to take away and practice at home.

During the evening you’ll enjoy 6 different cheese and wine combinations, including local Norfolk Cheeses & wines and at least three pairings.

Please note this is an outdoor event. The terrace area will be covered in the event of light drizzle. However if the weather looks unfavourable we reserve the right to cancel and will refund all guests in full. The terrace is sheltered but if it looks like it might get chilly, bring a jumper as it is not heated.

Come along and join our friendly crafting workshop where we try out a new craft every month.
You will be supported at each step of the way to create a bespoke take home craft. All materials and equipment are provided and no prior experience is needed.

For the June session, we will be wood block printing to create a sea themed tea towel

Workshops are suitable for adults and young people aged 13 and above. Cost is £25 per person and a donation of £10 to The Walled Garden is suggested, payable when you arrive.

Heather Ramsden-Wright joins us at The Walled Garden every second Friday of the month for meditation and mindfulness to calm body and mind.

An occupational therapist specialising in chronic pain and rheumatology, Heather will combine seated guided meditation and mindfulness techniques.

Cost is £10pp (which includes a suggested £2.50 donation to The Walled Garden).

Patchwork & Quilting Workshop

Create a garden-themed wall-hanging, a stunning sampler or a vibrant dresden quilt.

This is a an ongoing monthly class.

Cost is £17 per class which includes a suggested £5 donation to The Walled Garden.

These designs can be created by hand or machine, or a combination of both. You will learn how to make a wall hanging or quilt from start to finish showcasing different techniques. New projects will be added during the year.

Photography Club

Photography Club runs the second Saturday of the month from 2-4 pm

If you enjoy taking photographs and would like to learn how to take the best pictures come and join our photography club.

Photography is valid whatever medium is used, whether it’s a camera phone or an old box brownie.

We will explore the wonderful opportunities The Walled Garden has to offer for taking photographs.

Our club aim is to explore aspects of photography, determined by the group.

All are welcome and there is no charge. There is a wonderful cafe with good coffee and lots of tasty treats.

Children aged 6-11 are invited to The Walled Garden from 10am-12noon for Sunday Saplings (every other Sunday) - a fun-filled morning of games, crafts, and seasonal activities.

A suggested donation of £1 per child applies. Pre-booking is required, and an accompanying adult must stay on site but is welcome to use our garden and cafe whilst children get creative.. Refreshments available for purchase in our shop and cafe.
